History
Founded in 1976, Banchory Archers came to prominence during the 1980's as one of the dominating clubs in Scottish archery.

We are proud to have produced Senior and Junior Scottish Champions, British Team members, Junior European medallists, Commonwealth Games Competitors and finalists in the 1980, 84 and 88 Olympic trials.

In 2008 we were visited by Jay Barrs, the 1988 Olympic Gold medallist for men's individual archery. During his visit members had the chance to ask questions and receive one to one coaching on improving their game.

Currently Banchory Archers are proud to retain our position as one of the foremost clubs in Scotland. Our active member list currently stands at 17 members.

Location
During the summer months (April to end August) we shoot at the Paddock at the far end of the King George V park in Banchory. For the rest of the year we shoot at the Burnett Park Pavilion, behind the cricket pitch.
